Meet our newest intern, Aaron Yanagi!

Posted by

Aloha Ramblers, my name is Aaron Yanagi and I will be serving as Go Ramble’s newest intern! I am blessed to call Hawaii my home and take pride in sharing its plethora of perks with others. I enjoy hiking and bodysurfing among other activities that make use of the paradise we live in.

I am currently studying at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. Outside the classroom, I am an Analyst for the Whitworth Student Investment Group and Advertising Manager for The Whitworthian. I also play soccer for Whitworth which has afforded me the ability to travel across the nation and beyond, while doing something I’m extremely passionate about.

As an intern for Go Ramble, I will bring a fresh perspective formed by an array of experiences in different areas of the world. I have spent time in Japan, Canada, and South Africa, along with almost 20 U.S. states. This has given me the opportunity to understand and appreciate people from various walks of life.

My most recent travel abroad took me to Cape Town, South Africa. Here, I was immersed in a culture where first and third world communities exist side by side. A place where the nicest shopping mall I’ve ever been to sits just a short trip down the freeway to the most impoverished areas I’ve seen. Yet, in both instances you could easily find people just as happy and lively as in the other.

In my time living in Hawaii and traveling abroad, I can say with certainty that humanity shares common threads wherever you are. So whether you’re sending a welcoming gift to loved ones visiting these islands or letting us help to make your life more convenient here at home, I hope to add to your experience with Go Ramble by sharing my thoughts and stories.

I look forward to bringing you content that connects people from a wide range of cultures!

Mahalo,

Aaron Yanagi

P.S. Stay tuned for a look into my trip to Japan in the coming weeks!!
